Color Jar doesn’t collect, store, or share any information about you.

Information we collect

None. Color Jar makes no network connections. It has no account, server, analytics, advertising, or tracking.

The colors, names, and folders you save stay on your Mac, in the app’s own container.
Picking a color reads only the pixel you click, through macOS’s color sampler. Color Jar doesn’t record your screen.
Spotlight and Shortcuts see your saved colors only on your Mac, through macOS’s own indexes.
On macOS 26 and later, the Suggest button can name a color with Apple Intelligence’s on-device model. The color is never sent off your Mac.
Settings are kept in the app’s own preferences on your Mac.

This website uses no analytics and sets no cookies.

Everything Color Jar saves stays on your Mac. Deleting Color Jar and its container removes all of it.

Color Jar is not directed at children under 13 and does not collect personal information from anyone.

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change with it.
